A heating system can be controlled in the traditional way by turning the thermostat, or conveniently via the internet. The app also enables remote maintenance by an approved heating contractor. This is made possible by intelligent Viessmann apps, an internet interface and a web-enabled device such as a smartphone or tablet.
Vitoconnect communication module
Vitoconnect is the interface between the boiler and the app. It is required for operating the heating system from a smartphone or tablet and for remote system maintenance by a contractor using the Vitoguide app. The Vitoconnect is connected directly to the Vitotronic control unit of your Viessmann heating system or to the Ecotronic control unit of wood boilers via a cable.

Vitotrol 200-E Hardwired remote control
The Vitotrol 200-E is a hardwired remote control that can be installed in any living space. It can time programmes for up to four heating circuits, and allows you to preset temperatures. This unit also comes with an integral room temperature sensor and convenience functions such as a holiday programme.
Radio remote control Vitotrol 100-E
The Vitotrol 100-E is a battery-powered radio remote control with integrated room temperature sensor and illuminated display. It communicates wirelessly with boilers via low-power radio and can be installed in any living space.
